I listen to NPR. Today is Saturday, April 19th, 2025. On the morning show with Scott Simon he told the story of Kilmar Abrego Garcia being arrested and pinned as a gang member because he was wearing a Chicago Bulls cap. Scott then went on to tell stories of his travels around the world wherein he would see people wearing Chicago Bulls caps, places like Bosnia, Paris, Beijing and Baghdad. It got me thinking…What if we all wore Chicago Bulls caps in support of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. I know I’m not a member of any gang. I’m a 70 year old woman who doesn’t recognize my country anymore. I want to see Kilmar Abrego Garcia returned home to his wife and children, so, I’ve reached out to the Bulls Organization to see if they would be interested in perhaps providing the caps to this cause. Of course, it’s Saturday so I haven’t heard back. I figure they have a whole lot more money than we do and could probably foot the bill for a few million caps. What do you think? Can we do this? Maybe one of the Bulls players will hear about this and help us.🤞

The ACLU has a page outlining their push to reduce funding to ICE while this Regime stays in power. The link below has an opportunity to add your name and/or a message to that campaign. We can also call the Senate or the House Representatives directly.

Regarding in-person protests, there are many across the country but not with a centralized organization system yet, all grassroots. If you decide to attend one near you, please research first how the police response has been so far with the most recent there because once they start arresting and/or making physical contact with protestors the future encounters tend to get to that heightened baseline faster and faster each time. Safety is a very real concern especially if you are in a racial or ethnic minority.

Just sharing the message and concerns in safe spaces is an act of defiance because it's an open refusal to let this be normalized.

However you decide to make your voice heard, doing something to speak is always better than staying quiet. Too many people staying quiet in the face of tyranny only allows the tyrants to act more vicious because they do not expect consequences.

If Christie, the gnome can travel to that prison to do an ad in front of naked men 80 to a cell, she can fly down there and bring this man home overnight. This is an excusable in our in the United States of America. We are paying them more than it would cost to keep them here, so everyone can see plainly that El Salvador would quickly comply with the return of any of these men with a simple request by the administration. They are making a mockery of us, the United States, the constitution the judiciary and our humanity. It is no wonder that the woman who murdered her puppywould be in charge of crimes like this. Also, you might want to highlight the concentration camp in Florida that’s already had three deaths because they only give them one cup of water a day.

The first piece of evidence to show that you bought this lie hook, line & sinker was the line where you said the gang demanded the parents give their oldest son to the gang. Gangs do NOT recruit their members through the use of force!! Gangs can only exist when every member is TOTALLY loyal to the gang. How “loyal” is a kidnapped child of a family being persecuted going to be to the gang that kidnapped him and is persecuting his family??? You’ve been fed a pile of BS. You still have time to save face by retracting this fairy tale for the sack of garbage that it is. Kilmar Abrgo Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang BY CHOICE, just like he CHOSE to beat FREQUENTLY beat his wife.

They don't care about keeping gang members out. Trump wants to "make America great again" by making it a white, Christiofascist theocratic ethnostate and anybody who opposes that, regardless of ethnicity, is a threat and eventually liable to be deported. They've got him on camera talking about sending the 'homegrown" next. I hate this so much.

Hey I removed your comment since it was fact free and actually opened you up to legal action (it was libel). If you want to try again you're welcome to do so.
